Ingrown Toenail

A toenail growing into adjacent skin causes the toe to swell and become painful. In early stages, simple to remove. Left untreated, pain may become severe and necessitate surgery and antibiotics.

Other signs and symptoms or a corn or callus include:

  • Pain and or tenderness in your toe along one or both sides of the nail
  • Redness surrounding your toenail
  • Swelling of your toe around the nail
  • Infection of the skin tissue around your toenail.
