Bunions
Bony bumps form on the joint at the base of the big toe, causing discomfort. Other signs include swelling, pain, and limited movement.
Other signs and symptoms of a bunion include:
- Swelling, redness or soreness around your big toe joint
- Corns and calluses – these typically develop around where the first and second toes are rubbing against each other
- A bulging bump on the outside of the base of your big toe
- Constant pain or pain that comes and goes
- Limited motion of the big toe
