Foot or ankle injury
Soft tissue injuries in the foot might result from repetitive or abnormal movement of the foot
or ankle. Both the pain and biomechanical dysfunction need attention, or there is a higher
risk of re-injury.
Other signs and symptoms related to a foot or ankle injury include:
- Reduced movement in the foot
- Muscle spasms
- Pain and or swelling around the foot and or ankle
- Inability to put any or a reduced amount of weight on the foot/ankle
